The U.S. military announced on the 10th (local time) that it had launched additional attacks against Iran.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), which oversees U.S. forces in the Middle East, stated via X (formerly Twitter) that it "initiated additional self-defense strikes against multiple targets within Iran at 5:15 p.m. Eastern Time today (6:15 a.m. Korean time on the 11th)."

However, specific facilities or regions targeted were not disclosed. U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses had previously announced that Iran's "key facilities" would be targeted.

CENTCOM explained, "These strikes are a response to Iran's unjust and persistent provocations."

The United States carried out retaliatory strikes on the 9th after an Iranian drone attack shot down a U.S. Army Apache helicopter on the 8th, amid stalled discussions for an end to hostilities with Iran.

President Trump told reporters today, "We will strike Iran harder again today," signaling his intention for further offensive action.
