  • Made my blood boil during the press conference... 30 years in prison for flying a drone into an enemy nation that had launched a preemptive incursion.
  • Patriotic citizens also "enraged by disgusting verdict"... deploring, "How long will the forces of rebellion prevail?"

The defense team of President Yoon Suk-yeol, who is unjustly suffering in prison due to the rebellion of the far-left cartel, finally unleashed their suppressed fury.

Regarding the judiciary's decision to classify military operations in response to North Korea's 'filth balloon' attacks as 'acts of aiding the enemy' and sentencing President Yoon to 30 years in prison, they strongly retorted, "The special prosecutor's unreasonable investigation and indictment are precisely acts that gravely undermine national security."

Attorney Kim Gye-ri, a member of President Yoon Suk-yeol's defense team, expressed his sorrow and indignation during a press conference held in front of the Seoul Central District Court on the 12th, stating, "While preparing for the defense in this case, I never once thought that a guilty verdict would be handed down."

Attorney Kim sharpened his stance, stating, "This case is about Park Seon-won of the Democratic Party, who has a record of violating the National Security Act, accusing President Yoon Suk-yeol, who served as Prosecutor General and President of the Republic of Korea, of 'enticing foreign forces to engage in hostile acts.' Since the special prosecutor dared not accuse the president of 'colluding with an enemy state,' the charge created was that of general aiding the enemy."

He continued, "The judiciary has turned the legitimate governance of the President and the Republic of Korea into acts of aiding the enemy based on a few fragmented pieces of evidence," and "Isn't it strange that the Moon Jae-in administration abolished the NIS's anti-communist investigation authority, and the Lee Jae-myung administration disbanded the Counterintelligence Command, followed by the disbandment of the Drone Operations Command while North Korea participates in the Russia-Ukraine war, strengthening its drone warfare capabilities? Who is aiding the enemy?" he countered.

Attorney Kim then appealed, saying, "Freedom is not free, and national security is not simply maintained by itself." "When something feels wrong, no one will protect us but ourselves. Please, the public, not the judiciary, decide whether the President's operation in this case was an act of aiding the enemy."

Earlier, Judge Lee Jung-yeop of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 36 sentenced President Yoon Suk-yeol, who was tried on charges of general aiding the enemy and abuse of authority obstructing the exercise of rights, to 30 years in prison.

Lee also sentenced Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun to 30 years in prison, Counterintelligence Commander Yeo In-hyung to 15 years in prison, and Armed Forces Drone Operations Commander Kim Yong-dae to 3 years in prison with a 5-year suspended sentence, respectively.

In his ruling, he asserted, "It caused unnecessary expenditure of military power and hindered the potential utilization of military power."

Thus, the arduous legal battle waged by the defense team, who continued their arguments despite the rise of rebellious forces, pleading "Please understand the President's agony and resolve to protect the lives and property of the people," has for now come to naught.

However, the defense team immediately indicated their intention to appeal the absurd ruling, and swiftly filed an appeal just 5 hours and 30 minutes after the verdict was concluded.

Patriotic citizens are pouring out reactions such as "Disgusting verdict," "Election fraud is treason," "An unprecedented amount of bullsh*t disguised as a verdict," "Moon Jae-in handing over a USB to Kim Jong-un is a foreign exchange crime," "If a foreign exchange crime gets 30 years, then sending money to North Korea should be punishable by death," and "Does it make sense that someone who sent money to North Korea becomes president, while the legitimate duties of a president are punished as aiding the enemy?"
