Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on the 15th (local time) that the United States and Iran have reached a 'peace agreement' and an official signing ceremony will be held in Switzerland on the 19th, as has been mediated so far.

Sharif stated on X (formerly Twitter) that day, "Both sides have declared an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon."

He added, "In accordance with the agreement, the mediating countries will arrange a series of meetings this week."
