The special prosecutor team led by Min Jung-ki, investigating allegations related to First Lady Kim Keon-hee, will summon and question her on the 14th. This will be her first appearance for questioning since her arrest.

According to legal circles on the 13th, the special prosecutor team announced through a press release that they plan to summon and question Mrs. Kim at the special prosecutor's office, located in the KT Gwanghwamun Building West in Jongno-gu, Seoul, at 10 AM on the 14th.

This investigation is the first summons since the arrest warrant for Mrs. Kim was issued late in the afternoon of the 12th. She will be brought from the detention center to the special prosecutor's team for questioning.

Previously, Chief Judge Jeong Jae-wook of the Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant for Mrs. Kim, citing concerns about the "risk of destroying evidence," and charged her with violations of the Capital Markets Act, the Political Funds Act, and bribery under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes.

It is reported that Mrs. Kim's side intends to comply with the special prosecutor team's request for her appearance.
