President Donald Trump drew attention on Friday afternoon, the 17th, by posting two declassified documents on Truth Social.

These documents serve as evidence supporting President Trump's claim—made during his televised address to the nation the previous night—that there was fraud in the 2020 presidential election, and that intelligence agencies were aware of these facts in advance but nonetheless adjusted and suppressed the reporting of such information.

One document is a declassified email from the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), which contains a statement from an analyst responsible for strategic assessments of China and North Korea, admitting, "We intentionally massaged the 'President's Daily Briefing' (PDB) currently on hold to avoid any direct connection to the election."

The subject line of the email chain is *"RE: (U) Note to Election Threat 45 day ICA China Section Drafting Team,"* indicating it was an internal communication within the team conducting the "45-day Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA)" to investigate foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

Based on these documents, President Trump and his supporters argue that so-called "Deep State" intelligence officials intentionally suppressed, delayed, and minimized critical intelligence regarding China's interference in the election, preventing it from reaching the President.

The other document is a follow-up declassified email from within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). This document was officially declassified by President Donald Trump on July 3, 2026.

The subject line of the email is "RE: NSA deliberately messaging elections PDB," and it contains urgent internal reactions from the leadership of the ODNI—the parent agency—following the revelation of the aforementioned NSA analyst's "massaged" PDB email.

In the body of the email, an intelligence official ("Jeremy One") notes, **"It is noticeable that they worded the PDB away from the elections."** He continues by writing, **"It is concerning why they 'deliberately massaged' the election analysis,"** demonstrating that they were internally aware of the possibility that intelligence had been intentionally minimized or concealed.

Furthermore, the email includes instructions regarding inter-agency coordination, such as checking the progress with National Intelligence Officers (NIOs) to meet the draft deadline for the "Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Foreign Interference in the Presidential Election," which was scheduled for November 30, 2020.

These authentic intelligence records released by the Trump administration prove that allegations of Chinese interference related to the 2020 election were intentionally controlled by the Deep State.

The findings from the hundreds of pages of declassified intelligence documents released by the White House on Thursday night are as follows:

1. Massive Hacking and Theft of Voter Data by China

Around the time of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, Chinese intelligence illegally obtained and hacked the registration information of approximately 220 million U.S. voters. The leaked data reportedly included voters' names, addresses, phone numbers, and political party affiliations.

According to documents from the "Government Transparency Task Force" under the U.S. intelligence community, intelligence analysis indicates that China infiltrated and compromised the voter registration systems of at least 18 states.

2. Political Manipulation and Internal Dissent within the Intelligence Community (IC)

In 2020, the intelligence community, including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), officially concluded that "China did not have the intent to covertly interfere to change the outcome of the election." However, the newly declassified internal emails reveal a fierce process of "framing" and tone adjustment between political appointees and working-level analysts.

A DNI internal email dated September 3, 2020, shows one official writing, "I am concerned that political bias is seeping into this." Additionally, the transcript of a conversation between the National Intelligence Council (NIC) Director of Election Threat Analysis and others, upon learning of the NSA's alteration of the PDB, shows a shocked reaction: "They aren't linking the PDB to the election? The mind boggles."

3. Domestic Election Infrastructure Vulnerabilities and Investigation of Fraudulent Voting

The documents include initial police and FBI investigative files regarding 8,000 to 10,000 fraudulent voter registration applications in Muskegon, Michigan, in October 2020. Records show that when the FBI conducted a sample investigation, 91 out of 107 applications did not match the database and were fraudulent.

However, according to BBC reports, this case was officially closed by the FBI in September 2025 after no criminal charges were found.

A section citing an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claims that approximately 220,000 non-citizens were registered as voters in federal elections, exposing systematic vulnerabilities.

According to Fox News Digital, the DHS estimated that there were 190,832 non-citizens registered in California, 35,152 in New Jersey, 15,903 in Nevada, and 14,576 in Pennsylvania.

A report was also declassified showing that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had identified a specific plot by the Maduro regime in Venezuela in 2020 to digitally manipulate and coordinate their own election vote counts so that they could not be detected even by audits.

Based on this, the Trump administration argues that the United States' electronic voting infrastructure is similarly exposed to dangerous risks of foreign hacking.

Left-wing Media Remain Unchanged Despite Revelations

Mainstream left-leaning media outlets such as NBC and the BBC argue that while these declassified documents reveal systemic vulnerabilities and intense internal conflicts within the intelligence community, "definitive and conclusive evidence that the 2020 election result itself was overturned due to widespread fraud is still lacking."

Many of these outlets even refused to broadcast President Trump’s address to the nation.

Despite the release of documents suggesting that attempts at election fraud occurred and that those suspicions were covered up, left-leaning media outlets continue to cry "lack of evidence."
