U.S. President Donald Trump has proposed November 27 as the deadline for an agreement on a peace negotiation plan to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The Trump administration, which has drafted a '28-point peace plan' to end the nearly four-year-long war, appears to be accelerating its efforts with the goal of achieving a ceasefire by the end of the year.

In an interview with Fox News Radio on Thursday, President Trump said, "I've set many deadlines, and sometimes we extend them if things are going well. But this time, we see Thursday as an appropriate time."

Given that the proposed negotiation plan includes concessions of Ukrainian territory, it remains uncertain whether Ukraine will accept it. The move is interpreted as a call for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept the negotiation plan.

CNN reported on Thursday, citing multiple government sources, that the Trump administration expects Russia and Ukraine to reach an agreement by the end of this year.

President Trump has repeatedly expressed his determination to end the war in Ukraine, stating that he has already ended eight wars, including the conflict in Gaza.

These sources indicated that President Trump, who fancies himself a "master negotiator," has grown frustrated that his diplomatic achievements are not being fully recognized as the war in Ukraine drags on.

As a result, senior officials in the Trump administration have refocused their attention on the war in Ukraine, and discussions for an end to the conflict are gaining momentum, modeled after the negotiation strategy President Trump pursued during the Gaza ceasefire talks.

Indeed, the draft 28-point peace plan includes provisions similar to the Gaza ceasefire negotiation proposal, such as a cessation of hostilities, international funding for post-war reconstruction, and the establishment of a peace committee chaired by Trump.

The draft, obtained by CNN, reportedly includes the recognition of Ukraine's Luhansk, Donetsk, and Crimea regions as Russian territory.

It also includes the de facto recognition of Russian control over the southern Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, which Russia claims to have annexed, based on the current front lines.

The draft also contains a clause for Russia to relinquish control over any other agreed-upon territories outside of these five regions.

In addition, it includes the blocking of Ukraine's accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), limitations on the size of the Ukrainian military, and U.S. security guarantees for Ukraine.

Many of the provisions in this draft have been previously rejected by Ukraine during past negotiations, and in particular, the territorial aspects could be seen as concessions to Russia.

However, U.S. officials anticipate that the draft is not yet in its final form and is likely to be adjusted in the future.

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre stated on Thursday that details of the peace plan are "still under negotiation and fluid."

She added, "President Trump supports this plan, and he believes it is a good plan for Russia and Ukraine, and one that both sides can accept."
