Former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy Bart Marcois is interviewed by News & Post (NNP) on September 25th of last year (local time) at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) in Washington, D.C. / Photo: NNP-Korea-US-Japan Joint Coverage.
A former high-ranking U.S. official has issued a direct warning, urging the Lee Jae-myung administration to pay heed, stating that the swift arrest of Nicolás Maduro by the United States signals the beginning of the downfall of pro-China cartels worldwide.
Bart Marcois, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy for the U.S. Federal Government, analyzed that the U.S. arrest of Maduro "is part of the process of dismantling China's allies, such as South Korea."
In a post on social media X (formerly Twitter) on the 3rd (local time), he emphasized, "Make no mistake about what is happening," and stated, "Pres. Trump is systematically tearing down any entity that has the power to harm America."

He specifically targeted the Lee Jae-myung administration, advising, "Every leader who has allied with China (like the new govt of South Korea, and many politicians in EU, Africa, and Latin America) better take notice."
In a previous post, Marcois also stressed that Venezuela's downfall is an event directly linked to China.

He predicted, "The change in Venezuela (and probable fall of Iran) will severely limit Chinese power," and diagnosed, "Every leader who has been cozying up to China is suddenly realizing that China can’t help him."
He then pointed out the rapid weakening of pro-China cliques worldwide, saying, "They’re all feeling like the guy who dreams he’s at a formal event without any pants."
