“The People Power Party must cooperate with Trump and immediately join the fight to eliminate election fraud in Korea and the US.”
On January 3, 2026, U.S. President Trump officially announced the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife without bloodshed and their subsequent extradition to the United States.
This will be recorded as a historic turning point signaling the effective collapse of the Venezuelan socialist dictatorship, which has persisted for approximately 30 years through fraud and corruption. The 7.3 million overseas Koreans actively support President Trump’s decision, viewing it as a ‘modern Magna Carta’ that has put a halt to authoritarian power.
Trump Declares Resolve to Eradicate Global Election Fraud Cartel
While this action is ostensibly aimed at eradicating illegal drug trafficking linked to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ‘Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)’, its true purpose lies in dismantling the global election fraud cartel that has been spreading fraudulent elections to over 72 countries worldwide, including the United States, through Venezuela’s Smartmatic electronic voting machines for over two decades.
President Trump hinted on December 25, 2025, that South Korea’s Miru Systems, based on China’s Huawei, has also been involved in planning direct and indirect election fraud through A-WEB, in connection with the CCP (Reference: STOLEN ELECTION by Gary Bernsten & Ralph Pezzullo).
Despite this, the LEE Jae-myung administration has maintained an opposing stance to these international developments and the issues raised by the United States, leading to continuous clashes with President Trump. Overseas Koreans express deep anger and concern over the administration's attitude of labeling domestic and international concerns about election transparency as ‘fake news.’
Indeed, on November 23, 2025, during his visit to South Africa, President LEE Jae-myung announced at a meeting with overseas Koreans that he would pursue the introduction of electronic and mail-in voting for the convenience of overseas Koreans. This announcement came immediately after President Trump officially raised concerns about fraud in the mail-in ballots of the 2020 US presidential election.
Subsequently, Joo Jin-woo, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, strongly opposed this, pointing out that G7 countries such as the United States, Germany, and France have abolished electronic voting machines to prevent hacking risks and have returned to manual counting of ballots.
Overseas Koreans also agree with the lawmaker’s position. In elections, transparency and trustworthiness must take precedence over convenience.
Various allegations of election fraud, including △electronic tallying of early votes △proxy voting in mail-in ballots △and false registrations, have repeatedly surfaced, with overseas voting consistently identified as the most structurally vulnerable area.
In fact, during the June 3rd presidential election, the overseas voter turnout was 80%, and candidate LEE Jae-myung secured 66.4% of the overseas votes, which is approximately 17 percentage points higher than the national average of 49.42%.
After investigating the election interference by Venezuelan hackers and the Chinese Communist Party, President Trump declared on November 24, 2025, via Truth Social, "Focus all efforts on eliminating election fraud."
On November 29, he raised the possibility that U.S. taxpayer funds had been used for election fraud in about 100 countries, including South Korea. On December 2, after Texas announced the mandatory implementation of 100% paper ballots, President LEE Jae-myung categorically denied allegations related to China and election fraud during a cabinet meeting.
Following this, on January 3, 2026, President Trump arrested Maduro, while President LEE Jae-myung visited China with business leaders to meet with Xi Jinping. This contrast has caused deep concern among overseas Koreans.
A Message to the Republic of Korea Regarding the Eradication of Election Fraud
In light of this, we once again congratulate the Trump administration on the removal of the Maduro regime and strongly demand the following:
First, President LEE Jae-myung, who is under suspicion of election fraud, must resume his trial, step down from his position, and submit to legal judgment.
Second, former President YOON Suk-yeol, who declared martial law to eradicate the election fraud cartel, must be immediately released and reinstated to his duties.
Third, electronic voting machines, early voting, and mail-in voting must be abolished, and the system must transition to same-day voting with on-site manual counting. Specifically, the overseas electronic voting plan must be halted, and a system for on-site manual counting and real-time reporting must be established, with the participation of both ruling and opposition party representatives at consulates.
Fourth, Jang Dong-hyeok, leader of the People Power Party, must bring public attention to the election integrity issues, including the security vulnerabilities of the National Election Commission, and cooperate with the Trump administration to thoroughly investigate the allegations of election fraud in Korea and the US.
The 7.3 million overseas Koreans believe that the current Democratic Party administration lacks morality, legality, and legitimacy, similar to the Maduro regime. We express deep concern over the administration's similar trajectory, including its pro-China stance, election fraud controversies, socialist economic policies, attempts to control the judiciary, and pressure on opposition parties and the media.
We once again pay tribute to President Trump’s leadership and the life-risking mission of the Delta Force soldiers in ‘saving Venezuela.’ We will continue to strive and act alongside the citizens of our homeland to defend the free democratic system, ensuring that Venezuela’s downfall does not become the future of the Republic of Korea.

Urgent Statement from Overseas Koreans: We Actively Welcome President Trump's Arrest of Venezuelan President Maduro and His Wife
[The People Power Party Must Cooperate with Trump and Immediately Join the Fight to Eliminate Corruption in the Korea-US Elections]
On January 3, 2026, US President Trump officially announced that he had successfully apprehended Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife without bloodshed, and that they were being sent to the United States. This marks a historical turning point that signals the practical collapse of Venezuela’s socialist dictatorship, which has been sustained for nearly 30 years through corruption and abuse of power. The 7.3 million overseas Koreans strongly support President Trump's decision, recognizing it as a "modern Magna Carta" that puts a brake on authoritarian power.
On the surface, this move is aimed at eradicating illegal drug trafficking linked to China’s Belt and Road Initiative. In fact, the Trump Adminstration aims to dismantle the global election-rigging cartel, which has been spreading fraudulent elections for over 20 years through the use of Smartmatic electronic voting machines in over 72 countries, including the United States.
President Trump also hinted in his statement on December 25, 2025, that Miru Systems of South Korea, through Aweb and its connection to CCP, had been involved in indirect and direct election manipulation via China’s Huawei (See STOLEN ELECTION by Gary Bernsten & Ralph Pezzullo).
Despite this, the LEEJae Myung government has continued to oppose such international developments and issues raised by the US, clashing with President Trump. Particularly, the Korea left leaned - government’s stance of labeling concerns about election transparency as "fake news" has caused deep anger and concern among overseas Koreans.
In fact, on November 23, 2025, during his trip to South Africa, President LEE Jae-myung announced his plans to introduce electronic and mail-in voting to ease the voting process for overseas Koreans. This announcement came right after President Trump raised official concerns regarding fraud in the US mail-in ballots during the 2020 election.
Later, People Power Party lawmaker Joo Jin-woo pointed out that G7 countries, including the US, Germany, and France, had abolished electronic voting machines to prevent hacking risks and had returned to paper ballots. He strongly opposed the plan.
Overseas Koreans agree with the position of the opposition lawmaker. In elections, transparency and trustworthiness should take precedence over convenience. Various allegations of election fraud, including advance voting electronic tallying, mail-in proxy voting, and false registrations, have been recurring issues.
Particularly, overseas voting has been recognized as the most vulnerable area. For example, during the 2025 6/3 early presidential election, the overseas voting rate was 80%, and LEE Jae-myung received 66.4% of the overseas vote, which is about 17% higher than the national average of 49.42% (It is alleged that even this figure was manipulated) .
President Trump, after investigating election interference by Venezuelan hackers and the Chinese Communist Party, declared on November 24, 2025, via Truth Social to "focus all efforts on eliminating election fraud." On November 29, he raised concerns about the possible use of US taxpayer money for election fraud in over 100 countries, including South Korea.
On December 2, when Texas announced a mandate for 100% paper ballots, President Lee Jae-myung denied any allegations of election fraud or Chinese involvement at a state council meeting. Then, on January 3, 2026, President Trump arrested Maduro, while President Lee Jae-myung visited China to meet with Xi Jinping. This contrast raises deep concerns among overseas Koreans.
In light of this, we once again congratulate the Trump administration on the ousting of the Maduro regime and strongly demand the following:
1. President LEEJae-myung, who is under suspicion of election fraud, must resume his trial, step down from office, and submit to legal judgment.
2. Former President YOONSuk-yeol, who declared martial law to eliminate the election fraud cartel, must be immediately released and restored to his duties.
3. The use of electronic voting machines, early voting, and mail-in voting should be abolished. The system must return to same-day voting with on-site paper ballot counting. Specifically, the overseas electronic voting plan should be halted, and a system for on-site paper counting and real-time reporting should be established, with the participation of both ruling and opposition representatives at consulates.
4.People Power Party (Conservative) leader Jang Dong-hyeok should bring attention to the security vulnerabilities within the election commission and work with the Trump administration to thoroughly investigate the allegations of election fraud between Korea and the US.
The 7.3 million overseas Koreans believe that the moral, legal, and legitimate issues of the current Democratic Party administration are similar to those of the Maduro regime. The administration’s pro-China stance, election fraud controversies, socialist economic policies, attempts to control the judiciary, and pressure on opposition parties and the media raise significant concerns.
We once again pay our respects to President Trump for his leadership in saving Venezuela with the help of Delta Force soldiers. We will continue to work together with the people of South Korea to protect the free democratic system and ensure that Venezuela’s downfall does not become South Korea’s future.
