Amidst the police's request for an arrest warrant for Jeon Han-kil, CEO of 'Jeon Han-kil News', on charges of defamation against Lee Jae-myung and Lee Jun-seok, the 'Rally to Defend the Korea-U.S. Alliance and Liberal Democracy' was held starting at 1 PM on the 11th in front of the Anjeongri Gate of the U.S. military base (Camp Humphreys) in Pyeongtaek.

'White Umbrellas' Evocative of Special Warfare Command's White Parachutes

This rally was the first of the 'Umbrella Revolution' led by Jeon Han-kil, with numerous figures attending, including △Hwang Kyo-ahn, leader of the Liberty and Innovation Party △Lawyer Park Ju-hyun △Kim Se-ui, CEO of Garo Sero Institute △Kim Sang-hyun, CEO of Gukdae Tteokbokki △Kim Young-yoon, Director of Politico Institute △Park Se-beom, CEO of All About Self-Employed △Bermi TV △Joo Ok-soon, leader of Mom's Army △Cheon Chang-ryong, leader of the Association for the Defense of New Suffrage △Lee Ha-sang, "Attacking Lawyer" △Kim Chan-hyuk, CEO of the "Right Turn for Young Men in Their 20s," among others. Thousands of participants, according to the organizers' estimates, waved white umbrellas, the Taegeukgi (South Korean flag), the Stars and Stripes, and picket signs, chanting slogans such as △MAGA with ROK △We go together △Stop the Steal △CCP Out △Free Yoon △Save Korea.

Director Kim Hyun-tae stated that the white umbrellas are the same color as the reserve parachutes of the Special Warfare Command, also known as the 'White Roses of the Sky,' and said, "Today, your white umbrellas will save South Korea from crisis."

Kim Se-ui, CEO of Gaseyeon, said, "During the Moon Jae-in administration, even when I was arrested by the police, the prosecution did not request an arrest warrant. I attended today with the intention of supporting Mr. Jeon Han-kil, as I am unsure what will happen this time," adding, "Lee Jae-myung, who shared blatant falsehoods about Israel, must also be punished."

Lawyer Park Ju-hyun stated, "When arrest warrants were requested for Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn and reporter Heo Gyeom, I had the warrants dismissed. The secret was that the United States issued a strong warning, observing your judicial system. If you try to arrest our innocent Representative Jeon Han-kil, neither the people nor the United States will forgive you."

Furthermore, Lawyer Park said, "The people have learned of the pro-China and pro-North Korean forces' attempt to overthrow the nation through President Yoon's martial law. Let us strengthen the Korea-U.S. alliance and, at the same time, let the people raise their voices against China's interference in fraudulent elections to create another miracle."

Kim Sang-hyun, CEO of Gukdae Tteokbokki, strongly criticized Jang Dong-hyuk and Kim Min-soo of the People Power Party, stating, "Anyone who silences the voices of Yoon-again and China's interference in fraudulent elections is a fake."

Lee Ha-sang, a lawyer for "Attacking Lawyer," emphasized, "The only legal president of South Korea recognized by the Korea-U.S. alliance is President Yoon Suk-yeol, and Lee Jae-myung should be in jail; he is a fake." He continued, "I have had several opportunities to speak with President Yoon during court proceedings, and his primary concern was always the well-being of our young people in the West. We must reverse the situation where enemies are distorting the May 18th democratization movement and ensure that the young people of the West receive just compensation as national merit recipients."

Throughout the rally, the organizers repeatedly emphasized compliance with public election laws and urged participants to refrain from making statements supporting specific candidates or political parties.

'Umbrella Revolution' to be Held in Gwanghwamun on the 18th

Jeon Han-kil, the final speaker, mentioned that today's rally falls on the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai (April 11th), and declared, "We are starting the Umbrella Revolution here in front of Camp Humphreys to counter the pro-China, anti-U.S. regime."

Additionally, Jeon made four public requests to President Trump: △The majority of South Korean citizens strongly support the Korea-U.S. alliance and President Trump △We will not forget the sacrifices of the U.S. military during the Korean War △Within the framework of the Korea-U.S. mutual defense treaty, please take an interest in eradicating fraudulent elections △Please endeavor to secure the release of President Yoon Suk-yeol.

He also conveyed, "I heard that the U.S. Department of Defense is also closely watching today's rally. Our cries are not just our own, but represent countless citizens across the nation who are joining us."

Jeon Han-kil announced that he will hold another rally in Gwanghwamun on the 18th to commemorate the April 19th Revolution, and plans to continue the rallies nationwide, with subsequent events at the U.S. military base in Daegu and the UN Memorial Cemetery in Busan.
