Approximately 70 wet ballots were discovered during the ballot counting process at a polling station in Nam-gu, Pohang, Gyeongbuk Province. [Freedom and Innovation]
Approximately 70 "wet ballots" discovered during the counting of ballots at the polling station in Haedo-dong, Nam-gu, Pohang, have been recognized as valid votes.
A patriotic citizen reported to this publication on the 5th, stating, "Ballots that should have been invalidated due to being wet were ruled as valid."
It is impossible for ballots inside a sealed ballot box to become wet.
On the day of the main election, April 3rd, immediately after voting closed at 6 PM, the Election Commission affixed a seal to the ballot box's insertion slot to seal it. Both the ballot supervisor and the election observer had signed the seal.
The ballot box was then transported to the counting center in a vehicle. Pohang experienced clear weather that day with not a single drop of rain. However, when the ballot box was opened at the counting center, the ballots were found to be wet.
If the ballot box was not opened during transport after it was sealed, it is impossible for the ballots to have become wet. Why, then, were the ballots wet?
Regarding this matter, the informant stated, "No matter how I think about it, there is no other reason. Someone must have opened the ballot box at some point. Then, someone must have spilled water while drinking. I can't think of any other reason," adding, "The truth behind this incident must be revealed."
Who opened a ballot box that should absolutely not have been opened, and why? It's unlikely they were simply curious if the ballots were all there. The Election Commission must provide an answer as to why the ballot box was opened.

Approximately 70 wet ballots were discovered during the counting process, leading to an observer calling the police and filing an objection.
According to Freedom and Innovation and the Korean-American Joint Election Fraud Investigation Team on the 4th, about 70 wet ballots were found at the Nam-gu counting center in Pohang, Gyeongbuk Province, on the 3rd.
The observer immediately reported it to 112 and submitted a written objection to the election authorities.
It is reported that the police plan to conduct a thorough investigation into how the ballots were carelessly stored and whether they were counterfeit ballots.
