A fundraising event was successfully held on Wednesday, the 26th, in Duluth for two pro-Korea Republican state representatives in Gwinnett County, the heart of Georgia's Korean community.

The event, co-hosted by the Atlanta Chapter of AKUS (Association of Korean Americans) and the Atlanta Chapter of the Syngman Rhee Foundation (President Yoo Myung-hwa), saw the participation of approximately 60 Korean community members who raised and presented $25,000 for State Representatives Matt Reeves (Republican, District 99) and Soo Hong (Republican, District 103).

Seven Republican state representatives attended the event to support their colleagues, and Eugene Cheol Yoo, a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives for Georgia's 1st Congressional District in next year's midterm elections, also joined to show his support.
