U.S. President Donald Trump has urged the Republican Party to pass legislation to prevent election fraud, a topic that has recently heated up discussions in the United States.
Trump announced on Truth Social on the 5th (local time), "America's elections were rigged, stolen, and have become a laughingstock of the world. If we don't fix this, the country itself will cease to exist."
He continued, "I am asking all Republicans to fight for the following," proposing the "SAVE AMERICA ACT!" which includes the following:
1. All voters must present voter ID (identification)!
2. All voters must prove U.S. citizenship to register to vote.
3. Mail-in voting is not allowed (exceptions for illness, disability, military service, and travel!).
Following President Trump's announcement, South Korean netizens collectively commented, "Is it this difficult to handle what is obvious as it should be?" and "The People Power Party in Korea should also propose similar legislation."
Another comment read, "I was surprised by the U.S. President's statement that the nation's existence could be jeopardized if election fraud is not resolved. That's why resolving election fraud is a fundamental basic that must be addressed."
