Singer Yoon Soo-il and his band are embarking on a nationwide tour to commemorate their 50th debut anniversary.

Yoon Soo-il Band announced on the 15th that they will kick off their nationwide tour 'THE ORIGINAL' on May 1st at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Grand Theater in Seoul to celebrate their 50th debut anniversary.

In this concert, Yoon Soo-il plans to unfold a cinematic narrative by dividing his half-century musical journey into four chapters.

Yoon Soo-il debuted in 1977 with "Only Love Won't Do" and released hit songs such as "Apartment" (1982).

Furthermore, over the past 50 years, he has consistently been active with rock music that combines trot sensibility with a rhythmic go-go tempo, the groove of bass guitar, and electric guitar performances, establishing himself as a representative singer of domestic band music.

Notably, with BLACKPINK's Rosé's "APT." achieving global success upon its release in October 2024, Yoon Soo-il's song of the same title, released 42 years prior, was re-examined as the 'original Apartment.' In March of last year, he released his first full-length album in 11 years, "Our Story 2025," proving his enduring popularity for 50 years.

KGH and Yoon Soo-il Co., Ltd., the organizers, stated, "We will present a joyful performance that transcends generations through grand all-live band sound and modern stage direction."
