Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of the National Intelligence Agency, confirmed that the 2020 election was rigged and that the federal government was aware of it.
Earlier this year, during a high-level cabinet meeting with President Trump, she stated that intelligence agencies were investigating election interference and the manipulation of electronic voting systems, including evidence of foreign and domestic actors tampering with vote tallies.
"There is a great deal to investigate," Gabbard said, adding, "The most important thing after this is to ensure election integrity."
"There is evidence that these electronic voting systems have long been vulnerable to hacker attacks and are at risk of being exploited to manipulate election results," she said. "This further strengthens your mission to introduce paper ballots nationwide so that voters can have confidence in the integrity of our elections."
On Thursday, July 31, during an appearance on Benny Johnson's podcast, Gabbard revealed that a whistleblower from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) presented compelling evidence that the government was aware of significant vulnerabilities in electronic voting machines prior to the 2020 election but intentionally remained silent.

Gabbard stated, "What I wanted to highlight in the cabinet meeting was the initial intelligence that was shared by a whistleblower who was directly observing the work of CISA, which was responsible for managing critical infrastructure and protecting it from cyber vulnerabilities at the time. Critical infrastructure, of course, includes the integrity of our election systems."
"What is interesting is that this whistleblower submitted information indicating that CISA, and therefore the federal government at the time, was aware of vulnerabilities in our election machines but decided not to disclose that information to the American people or the administration," she continued.
"This is a very important issue for the American people. Again, the American people must have confidence in the integrity of our elections. Their voice is what should be heard through these elections. We are continuing to investigate this matter, and we will share information with you as it becomes ready for public release," said Director Gabbard.
Benny Johnson then asked, "Okay, so we will hear more about the 2020 election and some serious vulnerabilities?" To which Director Gabbard replied, "Yes."
