Former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon announced on the 14th that he would not apply for a review of the party's Central Ethics Committee's decision to expel him, citing "controversy on the party members' bulletin board."

At a press conference held at the National Assembly Communication Center that day, former leader Han stated, "I was expelled with fabricated information for preventing martial law and protecting the party," and added, "I will surely stop this martial law, just as we have stopped others, together with the citizens and party members, as another martial law that destroys democracy has been declared."

Former leader Han responded, "The Ethics Committee's decision is a procedural act with a predetermined conclusion," and "There is no point in applying for a review."

Finally, former leader Han concluded, "Let's be honest. This expulsion was orchestrated by Representative Jang Dong-hyuk to remove me for preventing martial law."

Meanwhile, attending the press conference that day were lawmakers Kim Hyung-dong, Bae Hyun-jin, Park Jung-hoon, Jeong Seong-guk, and Go Dong-jin, who are categorized as pro-Han faction members, along with former spokesperson Yoon Hee-seok.
