The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is expanding its investigation into alleged election irregularities in Maricopa County, Arizona's largest county, and has reportedly obtained election records through subpoenas.
This development follows Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen's visit to Arizona last month and comes just weeks after the FBI executed search warrants in Fulton County to investigate alleged irregularities in the 2020 presidential election, drawing significant attention.
At the time, Arizona State Senator Jake Hoffman had foreshadowed a major breakthrough in Arizona's elections, stating, "We have been in contact with Homeland Security over the last 72 hours," and added, "America, stay tuned."
According to Just the News, the FBI quietly seized election data and voting records from Maricopa County through grand jury subpoenas.
This investigation is reportedly linked to allegations that Runbeck Election Services, a private company that provides ballot printing and mail-in voting services in 31 states during the 2024 presidential election, mixed ballots and blank ballots in multiple states.
Arizona State Senate President Warren Petersen stated on X (formerly Twitter) on the 9th, "This past weekend, I received and responded to a federal grand jury subpoena demanding records related to the Arizona Senate's 2020 Maricopa County audit. The FBI is in possession of those records."
He commented, "President Trump is 100% correct," as Trump shared the Just the News article on Truth Social that day, writing, "GREAT!!! FBI GETS ELECTION RECORDS IN ARIZONA'S LARGEST COUNTY AS ELECTION INVESTIGATION EXPANDS."

Sources familiar with the FBI investigation told Just the News that the FBI received materials related to multiple elections, including those in 2020 and 2024, through subpoenas.
In a recent interview with Just the News, House Administration Committee Chairman Brian Steele stated, "We are reviewing the reports submitted by our poll watchers who have been deployed across the country. It is of utmost importance that we work closely with other federal government agencies at this time."
Steele added, "We have reports that document instances that have occurred in Arizona and across the country, and we are reviewing them in real time and working closely with our federal partners to ensure that the law has been followed in all jurisdictions across the nation."
Just the News, citing sources, reported that the FBI is likely to execute search and subpoenas in other states besides Georgia and Arizona in the coming weeks.
This makes it clear that they are investigating potential violations of federal law, which requires election officials to comply with state laws when sending and counting ballots, as indicated in a public affidavit filed during the seizure of the Fulton County election center, Just the News reported.
FBI Special Agent Hugh Raymond Evans stated in court that the FBI had "confirmed" several significant irregularities in vote tabulation in Georgia's largest metropolitan area after the 2020 presidential election and was investigating whether these irregularities were an attempt to intentionally violate federal election law.
Earlier, the Arizona State Senate conducted a large-scale audit following the COVID-19-affected 2020 election and concluded that there had been irregularities.
One of the most shocking findings from the Senate audit was an estimate that over 200,000 ballots in Maricopa County with mismatched signatures may have been counted without review or "correction." This is more than eight times the 25,000 cases of signature mismatches that the county acknowledged required correction.
