Hwang Kyo-ahn, leader of the Freedom and Innovation Party, will participate as an official speaker at the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) 2026, held in Texas, USA, from March 25th to 28th (US Central Standard Time).

Leader Hwang Kyo-ahn's speech is scheduled for 10:05 AM on the 27th (local US time, 00:05 AM on the 28th Korean time) on the main CPAC stage, with a solo address titled 'K-Pop Communist Hunter'.

It is anticipated that his speech will directly address various pressing issues to the international audience, including South Korea's fraudulent elections, anti-state forces, communization, and persecution of churches, and will call for active intervention from the United States and the Western world in South Korean affairs.

This marks the first time a Korean national will deliver a speech as an official speaker on the main CPAC stage.

CPAC, established by the American Conservative Union in 1974, is the world's largest conservative political event, continuing for over half a century.

CPAC is the largest and most influential gathering of conservatives globally, serving as an international conservative platform where key leaders, politicians, activists, journalists, and civil society representatives from conservative factions in the US and around the world convene annually to discuss core conservative agendas such as freedom, security, economy, religious values, and international solidarity.

Past US Presidents, Vice Presidents, Cabinet members, and Congressional leaders have participated as keynote speakers. In recent years, the scope of invitations has expanded to include heads of state and international conservative leaders, positioning CPAC as a focal point for the global conservative movement.

This year's CPAC 2026 will feature a significant number of key figures from the US administration and Congress as speakers, including US Vice President J.D. Vance, White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, US Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, and US House Speaker Mike Johnson.

On the international stage, leaders from various countries are expected to speak on themes of freedom, democracy, and international conservative solidarity, including Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran, President Javier Milei of Argentina, and President Karol Nawrocki of Poland.

Additionally, prominent figures within the US conservative movement, such as Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Blackwater founder Erik Prince, and Pastor Franklin Graham, are listed as speakers.

Gordon Chang, who will conduct a dialogue with Leader Hwang Kyo-ahn, is widely known domestically and internationally as a key figure associated with President Trump. Last year, at the CPAC event, President Trump referred to him as "the great Gordon Chang" and acknowledged that Chang's views were identical to his own.

Chang is an expert on international affairs and a conservative commentator, serving as a columnist for Newsweek and a regular commentator on major US media outlets such as Fox News. He also serves on the CPAC board of directors.

Leader Hwang Kyo-ahn held a video interview with Gordon Chang last year, but this year's direct address from a key stage of the US conservative movement is expected to have a significantly greater international impact.

It is anticipated that Leader Hwang Kyo-ahn's speech at CPAC, the world's largest conservative political platform, advocating for the protection of South Korea's liberal democracy and constitutional order, the strengthening of the ROK-US alliance, and the eradication of fraudulent elections, will serve as an opportunity to elevate South Korea's standing within the international conservative movement and enhance solidarity between ROK and US conservative figures.

Meanwhile, Leader Hwang has previously announced his candidacy for the Pyeongtaek-eul (B) National Assembly by-election, scheduled for June 3rd.
