A woman who single-handedly blocked the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee and the police from forcibly entering the Olympic Park (O-gong) handball stadium office will be investigated by the police.

The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced on the 17th that they plan to initiate an investigation into Ms. A, who had blocked the entry of sports organizations at the entrance of the handball stadium, which served as the "Jamsil Vote Counting Station," the previous day.

On the 16th, when the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee and the police attempted to forcibly enter the vote counting station located in the Olympic Park handball stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Ms. A held onto the stadium door for approximately two hours, resisting their efforts.

This incident occurred as the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee and the police, under the pretext of the current situation where citizens' right to participate is being stripped away, and after Lee Jae-myung, who is abroad, effectively ordered a forced dissolution, attempted to enter the vote counting station, where the election had not yet concluded, using force without a warrant.

Despite persuasion from Jang Dong-hyuk, the leader of the People Power Party, Ms. A refused to back down, stating that the preservation procedures for the ballots and ballot boxes within the vote counting station must be carried out first. Ultimately, the forced entry was thwarted.

Subsequently, netizens have begun referring to Ms. A, who single-handedly blocked entry to the vote counting station, as the "Olympic Park Joan of Arc" (Oldark).

After the sports organizations and the People Power Party gave up on entering the vote counting station the previous day, Ms. A left the scene with the police and has not been seen at the Jamsil site since the morning.

Given that the police have stated they will sternly address the damages suffered by sports organizations, some anticipate that charges such as "obstruction of business" will be applied. Regarding this, a police official stated, "We cannot provide specific details."

Meanwhile, Hwang Kyo-ahn, the leader of the Free and Innovative Party, who departed for the United States on the 15th with lawyer Park Ju-hyun to raise awareness about election fraud in Korea, posted on Facebook, "The police are going to investigate a patriotic comrade who prevented the police's unauthorized entry into the vote counting station. What wrong did she do? I will offer my legal services for free. Other lawyers will join as well."
