Singer Ok Hee (73), who had been battling kidney cancer for two years, has passed away.

Ok Hee had revealed in a broadcast in January that her kidney cancer had spread and that she was focusing on treatment. However, her condition recently worsened, and her husband, former boxer Hong Soo-hwan, had been by her side.

The wake is being held in Room 3 of Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall in Seoul, with the funeral procession scheduled for the 24th.
