Former Philippine election commissioner Andres Bautista. He was indicted in the United States in 2024 along with company executives for allegedly accepting bribes from a US vote-counting company in connection with the 2016 Philippine presidential election. [EPA=Yonhap News]
An executive from Smartmatic, which has emerged as a central figure in election fraud globally, is accused of corruptly turning a US county into a Democrat-supporting area.
‘@TheSCIF,’ which focuses on political issues, revealed on social media platform X on the 11th that “a Smartmatic executive, who is a fugitive in the Philippines facing bribery and election fraud charges, convinced Tarrant County in Texas to use ‘tampered voting machines’ connected to overseas servers via the internet, thereby making the county a Democrat-supporting region.”
According to TheSCIF, Smartmatic secured a contract worth $199 million (approximately 293.3 billion won) through bribery in the 2016 Philippine elections, paying bribes to election commission chairman Juan Andres Bautista by inflating the price of voting machines.
The post stated, “Smartmatic executives, including Roger Piñate, have been indicted for allegedly inflating the price of over 90,000 voting machines to create an slush fund of $1 million (approximately 1.4 billion won),” adding, “They laundered bribes through fake contracts, offshore accounts, and cash.”
This is a violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and the discrepancy in exit poll results is similar to cases of election results being altered through software manipulation in Venezuela.
TheSCIF further emphasized, “Bautista, the Philippine election commissioner, resigned in 2017 due to suspicions of accumulating unexplained wealth amounting to $20 million (approximately 28 billion won) and fled to the United States, while Smartmatic owners evaded pursuit by Philippine judicial authorities in Florida.”
Additionally, it was revealed that “these fraudulent activities have spread to the United States, with widespread allegations of vote manipulation in the 2020 presidential election, and proven fraud in places like Georgia and Michigan, all linked to Dominion.”
Furthermore, it reported, “In Texas, the same Smartmatic executive who fled the Philippines used ‘new’ machines vulnerable to tampering in 2020 and 2024 to flip Tarrant County into a Democrat stronghold. This manipulation exploited system errors, lax audits, overseas servers, and flaws in ballot review.”
The post warned, “The ongoing lawsuits are demanding the introduction of paper ballots to prevent election manipulation,” and added, “If this does not happen, the United States will collapse, and if the United States collapses, the rest of the world will follow.”
Meanwhile, Smartmatic collaborated with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in the Philippines from 2010 to 2022, providing solutions for Vote Counting Machines (VCMs) in five national elections. This made the Philippines the first country in Southeast Asia to adopt election automation.
The post by ‘The SCIF’ is known to be frequently shared by US President Donald Trump in relation to Smartmatic and Dominion voting systems.
President Trump has also mentioned the possibility of election manipulation in over 100 countries, including South Korea, based on the claims from this account.
