U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is visiting the United States next week, Reuters reported on the 24th (local time), citing a White House official.

President Zelensky is visiting the U.S. to attend the funeral of former Senator Lindsey Graham (Republican, South Carolina), a close associate of President Trump, and is reportedly scheduled to meet with President Trump on the 28th.

Former Senator Graham, who was classified as a hawk on Russia, died suddenly on the 11th, shortly after returning from a visit to Ukraine where he met with President Zelensky to discuss additional sanctions against Russia.

The meeting between President Trump and President Zelensky is expected to focus on potential solutions for the stalemate in the Russia-Ukraine war, which is now in its fifth year.
