On the 17th, Constitution Day, Seoul Olympic Park saw its largest crowd since the "missing ballot paper incident" on June 6th, filled with the fervor for a "rerun of the election due to fraud." 

Patriotic right-wing citizens and various civic groups gathered at the site to watch a real-time broadcast of U.S. President Donald Trump's address to the nation, provided by "Liberty and Innovation," regarding "suspicions of Chinese interference in the election," and strongly urged for an international investigation through U.S.-ROK cooperation.

High Fervor from Morning... Intense Focus on Trump's Address

Unlike usual weekends, when crowds typically grow after two or three in the afternoon, people began gathering before noon yesterday on Constitution Day to compete for good spots. Around 12:30 PM, chants of "Yoon Again" and "President Yoon Suk-yeol" erupted from Section 1-2.

Jang Dong-hyuk, leader of the People Power Party, skipped Constitution Day events to visit Olympic Park. The "Liberty Korea Patriotic Corps," which departed from Gangnam, arrived after a four-hour journey to join the citizens. Also in attendance were Seo Seong-guk, who produced and distributed the "K-Revolution" T-shirts worn by Ambassador Mostan, and the individual known as "Ol-d'Arc," for whom the police recently requested an arrest warrant.

In the video, President Trump stated, "China has a department dedicated to foreign election interference and has hacked and stolen information on American citizens." He pressed for the approval of the "Save America Act," which focuses on reducing mail-in ballots and strengthening voter identification (ID cards).

Hwang Kyo-ahn, head of Liberty and Innovation, who watched the video with the crowd, held an impromptu phone call with Dr. Douglas Frank of the U.S.-ROK joint election fraud monitoring team, who visited Korea last month. The two pledged solidarity, stating, "The patterns of election fraud in the U.S. and Korea are identical." 

Dr. Frank also announced that he would introduce the protest methods used at Seoul's Olympic Park and raise international awareness of the Korean situation at a California election fraud rally to be held in Los Angeles' Koreatown at the end of this month.

Attorney Park Joo-hyun, who was present, remarked, "It seems many young people will be awakened by President Trump's speech," and announced that he plans to attend the rally in Los Angeles at the end of this month. 

From Demanding a Special Prosecutor to Street Marches

Concrete calls for a thorough investigation into the election fraud allegations also echoed through the site.

People Power Party lawmaker Ju Jin-woo also continued to engage with patriotic right-wing citizens at the park. He previously pointed out issues such as the National Election Commission's private contracts and lax CCTV surveillance of ballot boxes, arguing, "Since the integrity of the ballot boxes has been compromised, we must go beyond simple recounts and conduct a special prosecutor investigation led by the opposition party."

Around 9 PM, the atmosphere reached its peak as the "Liberty Korea Patriotic Corps" procession, having marched 10km from Gangnam Station over four hours, joined the crowd at Olympic Park. 

Those who had previously focused only on "reruns" shifted their stance that day to shout for a "rerun due to election fraud." There was also a significant shift as youth groups that had only demanded reruns began joining in the chant for a "rerun due to election fraud."

People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk and Supreme Council member Kim Min-soo also arrived early to interact with citizens. Through their speeches, they echoed the "rerun due to election fraud" slogans, drawing a positive response from the patriotic right-wing citizens.

Participants unanimously agreed that for the movement of nationwide hand-counting of same-day ballots and a special prosecutor investigation to gain momentum, the People Power Party, with its 2 million members, must play a leading role. Furthermore, there were strong calls for an internal personnel reshuffle to remove certain factions or pro-China lawmakers within the party who deny allegations of election fraud.

One participant specifically pointed out, "Leader Jang Dong-hyuk has disappointed supporters in the past with his remarks regarding martial law." They added, "With Trump's announcement making reasonable suspicion of Chinese election interference possible, and given that the courts have failed to perform their duties, Leader Jang must clearly recognize that President Yoon's declaration of martial law was legitimate in order to regain the full support of conservative, right-wing citizens."

Meanwhile, at the Seoul National University Truth Forum tent, Representative Kim Eun-gu has concluded a 17-day hunger strike, while professors from the Academic Association for Correcting the Nation continue a relay hunger strike.

A Venue Blending Culture... "An Opportunity to Set Korea Right"

Amidst the tense political atmosphere, there was a moment for citizens to unite through culture. Around 6 PM, a concert by the "Olympic Park Orchestra" was held. Lee Shin-young, team leader of the Seoul Larkspur Film Festival, and performers including a cellist and mother of four, were met with applause for their beautiful melodies.

Patriotic right-wing citizens define this rally as more than a simple protest; they call it the "Olympic Park Democratization Struggle." Citizens from all walks of life, including former teachers and former diplomats met at the site, expressed their firm determination, stating, "The National Election Commission, suspected of involvement in election fraud, is being condemned by the public for various corruptions and lax work ethics. We must take this opportunity to fundamentally set the Republic of Korea right through the power of ordinary citizens."
