The 6th Seoul Activist Film Festival (Organizing Committee Chairman Lee Jang-ho) will commence today, the 18th, at 6 PM at Yonsei University's Centennial Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, and will continue for five days until the 22nd.

This film festival, held under the slogan "Freedom Again!", will showcase a variety of domestic and international works highlighting North Korean human rights, freedom of expression, human dignity, and the value of universal human rights.

The opening film selected is the documentary "Gender Transformation: The Untold Realities." The film addresses the ongoing gender issues and transgender transitions debated in the international community through various cases and testimonies, offering diverse food for thought on freedom, human rights, and balanced social development.

Meanwhile, the Association of Liberal Writers (Representative Lee Dae-young) issued a congratulatory statement on the occasion of the Luxfer Film Festival's opening.
