[Yonhap News TV]

The Republic of Korea is crumbling under the weight of barbaric forces.

Kim Min-seok’s baseless, vitriolic attacks against the judiciary reflect the behavior of a reckless man drunk on power, wielding a blind sword and spewing filth from his foul mouth while serving the criminal Lee Jae-myung as his lord.

There is no respect for power, nor the slightest courtesy toward judges.

The Republic of Korea is reeking from the filth spewed by the Democratic Party of Korea.

Who does he think he is to "dismiss" anyone? Having already dismantled the prosecution to cover up Lee Jae-myung's crimes, they are now attempting to excise the judiciary as well.

The anti-state, dictatorial force that is the Democratic Party of Korea and Lee Jae-myung will eventually be dismissed by the people.

The Liberty Unification Party will fight to the end.

Is that the mouth of an opposition party leader in the Republic of Korea?

I quote the remarks made by Kim Min-seok, a leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, on the 19th. I ask the public to judge for themselves whether this is appropriate language for an opposition leader to use toward the head of a constitutional institution.

He referred to Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae as "that person Cho Hee-dae," stating, "I can no longer call him Chief Justice. He is a 'law technician'." Regarding the written recommendation for Supreme Court Justices, he likened it to "the attitude of a delinquent student who, after breaking a window, begs not to be expelled and says they won't study," even going so far as to ask, "Are you asking to be fired?"

We have never seen an opposition leader use the term "fire" or "dismiss" toward the head of a constitutional institution. We have never encountered, in the history of our constitutional government, such a mouth spewing rhetoric as if the person possessed the absolute power to dispose of the heads of all institutions.

He did not stop there.

He brought up former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and asked, "Is Chief Justice Cho trying to walk the same path as an accomplice to insurrection like Mr. Han Duck-soo?" He branded the head of a constitutional institution as an "insurrection accomplice" without any basis.

This is clear defamation and a violent outburst that characterizes the entire judiciary as a potential criminal organization. Strict social, moral, ethical, and legal accountability must be demanded.

He has crossed the line.

"I demand the Supreme Court Justices of the Republic of Korea hold a meeting and resolve to tell 'Cho Hee-dae to leave.' I want the entire judiciary to rise up and tell 'Cho Hee-dae to leave.'" An opposition leader has publicly directed judges across the country to oust the Chief Justice.

The independence of the judiciary is the independence of trials, and the independence of trials is a fundamental right of the people. The opposition leader trampled on that principle right in the middle of a Supreme Council meeting.

He did not hesitate to say, "Who do you think you are to engage in such misconduct in front of the people?" Is it appropriate language for an opposition leader who claims to lead a pillar of state affairs to describe a Chief Justice, who was exercising his constitutional authority, as committing "misconduct"?

I would like to ask Kim Min-seok where he learned such foul-mouthed habits.

It is truly lamentable that such base individuals, who deny the legitimacy of the Republic of Korea, have entered our politics and turned it into a gambling den overrun by vulgar insults. We are in the midst of seeing established inter-party practices, the unwritten rules of respecting the independence of institutions, and even the minimal human decency required to protect individual dignity being trampled and violated by these barbaric forces.

Can these people even be called a legitimate political party?

Who, exactly, is ordering whom to "get out"?

Article 104 of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea stipulates that Supreme Court Justices are appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Chief Justice and with the consent of the National Assembly. Unlike the previous practice where the Chief Justice would meet with the President to coordinate beforehand, the recent use of a written recommendation may be a subject of political debate. However, a face-to-face consultation with the President is not a procedure mandated by Article 104 of the Constitution. This controversy must be viewed by distinguishing between the issue of "breaking tradition" and the constitutional right of recommendation granted to the Chief Justice.

Nevertheless, in a setting attracting media attention, Kim Min-seok stripped the Chief Justice of his title, threatened his resignation, branded him as an accomplice to insurrection without evidence, and ordered judges nationwide to defy authority.

Is the judiciary not a constitutional institution to be respected, but merely a subordinate agency that must move according to the will of the Democratic Party of Korea?

A person claiming to be a leader of the Democratic Party, with the criminal Lee Jae-myung as his master, has acted as a reckless brute and spewed filth from a mouth drunk on power. That filth has been broadcast and spread across the entire country. The disgusting stench permeates the whole nation.

The Democratic Party of Korea dismantled the prosecution to erase Lee Jae-myung's crimes, and now they are attempting to erase the judiciary as well.

The public can no longer tolerate the barbaric and maniacal rampage of Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party of Korea as they destroy state institutions one by one.

Kim Min-seok must immediately retract his statement linking Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae to the "path of an insurrection accomplice" and apologize to the people.

The anti-state, dictatorial force known as the Democratic Party of Korea, which is violating the constitutional order of separation of powers under the guise of "prosecution reform" and "judicial reform," must be disbanded immediately.

Lee Jae-myung must take responsibility for all of this and step down.

The legislature, the executive, and the judiciary all fall under the Constitution.

The Republic of Korea belongs not to the President, not to the Democratic Party, and not to Kim Min-seok. It belongs to the people.

As long as the Democratic Party of Korea and Lee Jae-myung exist, all civilization—including the rule of law, freedom, democracy, common sense, and human dignity—will collapse, and only barbarism will rule the Republic of Korea.

The Liberty Unification Party will spare no effort to dissolve the unconstitutional Democratic Party of Korea and to bring Lee Jae-myung down.
