Resolution criticizing President Trump… 4 Republican lawmakers vote in favor

On the afternoon of the 23rd (local time), U.S. Democratic senators, with the consent of a small number of Republican colleagues, passed a resolution to halt U.S. military operations against Iran. This represents a symbolic victory for the Democratic Party.
Four Republican senators—Rand Paul (Kentucky), Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), and Bill Cassidy (Louisiana)—joined Democratic senators in the Senate to criticize President Donald Trump and the conflict in the Middle East.
According to Fox News, Republican Senators Mitch McConnell (Kentucky) and Dave McCormick (Pennsylvania) did not participate in the vote, which worked in favor of the Democratic Party.
The resolution was adopted by a vote of 50 to 48.
This result occurred despite Senator John Fetterman (Pennsylvania) being the only Democrat to cast a dissenting vote.
Just the News reported that while the bill narrowly passed the House on the 3rd, it will not be submitted to the President for signature and carries no legal binding force.
