Coupang announced on the 20th that it has provided 200 sets of 'Emergency Relief Coupang Hope Boxes' to Geoje, Gyeongsangnam-do.

The previous day, Coupang delivered relief supplies to approximately 200 people who had evacuated to temporary shelters, including schools, social welfare centers, community halls, and public facilities.

The boxes consist of 10 types of daily necessities, including storage bins, blankets, pillows, towels, socks, compressed wet wipes, toothpaste and toothbrushes, toiletry pouches with soap and foaming nets, and foldable three-section mattresses.

This marks the company's second instance of flood relief support, following the emergency provision of 100 Hope Boxes to Uiseong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, which was hit by heavy rains last month.

A representative from Coupang’s Corporate Social Responsibility office stated, "We decided to provide this emergency support with the hope that it will offer some comfort to residents who have suddenly lost their homes due to record-breaking heavy rains."
