Former MBC 'Camera Report' journalist presents criteria to gauge the sincerity of special prosecutors at Olympic Park

Equipped with a 1,600-member verification team and advanced technology… “Ready for full-scale inspection of voting and counting” 

“Even if we cannot enter, lawmakers like Joo Jin-woo and Kim Eun-hye must go in with microscopes” 

“We will share evidence of election fraud with the US administration and other international entities to make it a global issue” 

Lee Sang-ro, a journalist formerly active with MBC's 'Camera Report,' has set the acceptance of the 'Fair Verification Team for a Righteous Election (Olgong Verification Team)' into the inspection site as the key benchmark for evaluating the sincerity of any future special prosecutor.

Speaking on the 15th at a special stage set up by the National Coalition for the Struggle Against Election Fraud (co-chairs Jang Jae-eon and Kim Byung-jun) in front of Gate 2-2 of the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Lee stated, “Even if a special counsel is formed, the citizen-led verification team must be allowed to enter the site to conduct inspections,” adding, “A special counsel that refuses our participation will have its sincerity questioned.”

He continued, “Even if we cannot enter [the recount site], we will provide microscopes to Representative Jang Dong-hyeok and lawmakers Lee Jin-sook, Joo Jin-woo, and Kim Eun-hye so that they can conduct the verification themselves. However, if they refuse to do so due to the prestige of their positions or other reasons, it will prove the limitations and lack of sincerity of the special counsel.”

Comparing the acceptance of the verification team to a "litmus test" for determining the true nature of the special counsel, he emphasized that they have completed preparations for a thorough, hands-on inspection.

According to Lee, the verification team has currently mobilized over 1,600 volunteers and has fully equipped itself with over 100 laptops, 100 high-performance microscopes, and QR code scanners for precise verification.

“We will reveal to the entire nation, through large monitors and high-magnification microscopes, whether every single ballot box and ballot is forged or fake,” he said. “Conducting a full-scale inspection of the entire voting and counting process to reveal clear evidence is my area of expertise.”

Furthermore, he revealed plans to share evidence and circumstances regarding election fraud not only within Korea but also with major international organizations and the U.S. federal government, aiming to elevate the June 3 election fraud incident into a global issue.

“We will inform not only the people of South Korea but also the international community, including the United States, about the mountain of evidence regarding election fraud,” Lee added. “We will provide such perfect evidence that we could tell U.S. President Donald Trump that ‘the American people must become as smart and awakened as the Korean people.’”
